Butterfly moustache! My work colleague found three chrysalis in his orchard and gave them to us to take care of them until they hatched. We’ve watched with anticipation as one by one they’ve emerged into beautiful Wanderer (Monarch) butterflies. It’s been a fascinating, wonderful experience for the boys. We’ve now said goodbye to Amber and Dawn with one more likely to hatch tonight.
Staff winemaking day @witchcliffe_ecovillage! We harvested deliciously sweet Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Ecovillage (former Cape Mentelle) vineyard and then spent the afternoon squishing grapes and lunching under the trees on homegrown and homemade culinary delights. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday. I ❤️ my work.

Exploring my new ‘hood on a 27km round trip Rails to Trails ride from Margs to Cowaramup today rewarded me this delightful view along the way. Five blissful hours of me time.
